HECAS ROUND 2

Please be informed of the following to whomever is applying:

'Please be informed that the online application for HECAS 2012 (2nd Round) will be officially closed on Saturday, 1st September 2012 after 4:30 p.m.  Please make sure the HECAS 2012 (2nd Round) application form is submitted online before the closing date.  Once submitted successfully, applicants are required to print out their HECAS online forms and submit them with their relevant documents to the institution/section they have applied to. 

It is the responsibility of every applicant to make sure all information entered is correct and complete.  Higher education institutions and Scholarship Section of Ministry of Education Brunei Darussalam reserve the right to REJECT applications which are incomplete, contained false information or received after the 3rd working day from the closing date.

Please send your query or technical issue to admission@hecas.edu.bn before the closing date.'

SMSA DOA SELAMAT FOR SCHOLARS 2012

Hello scholars!

Tq again for providing me with your information as I am in the midst of preparing the doa selamat ceremony for you all. This is also to confirm with you the ceremony will be held:

SMSA Conference Room
Formal attire please :D (You'll be taking pics so you'll want to look your best!)

You may collect your invitation cards by Saturday afternoon (1.00 - 3ish pm) and latest by Monday afternoon (3.30pm). Careers office should be open normal working hours and you can just ask any one of us to collect your cards. Your parents are also invited and if they cant make it, bring along your family members (sibling,uncles,aunts) to make the ceremony as festive and merry as possible!

We hope you can attend to celebrate your achievements with SMSA before you leave and begin your journeys...See you all there!

p/s: please forward this email to anyone you feel I've not sent it to. Btw, does anyone know anny SMSA juniors who have received the MOE special scheme, DANA or JIS scholarships? Because they seem to have left without a word...

SMSA Scholars

Good evening SMSAnians....welcome back to school life! I've a few announcements to make with regards to higher education.

1. Congratulations to all students who have achieved success in the recent June As/A level results. Those who are qualified to apply for the second batch of scholarship 2012 as well as UBD. Please get started with applying on HECAS:

You may come and see any of the career officers if you have any questions.

2. Ex- SMSA students 2010/2011 batch who have received scholarship offers: please provide me your details:

Full names, name of scholarship, course, university as well as contact numbers.

SMSA will be organising a doa selamat ceremony for the scholars tentatively: Saturday, 1st September 2012 (2 - 4pm), I will have to confirm again because I need to find out the exact number of scholars. Please email me asap so I can prepare the event.

3. SMSA students who wish to apply for hospital attachment (October and December), please do so immediately and you can ask us for any questions. Also, applications for UCAS and Medicine scholarships are now open so future doctors, please come and see me if you wish to apply.
